Town of Old Saybrook, CT - 10/30/2008 Minutes

I.	CALL TO ORDER First Selectman Michael Pace called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.
II.	PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance was waived.
III.	COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC None taken.
IV.	COMMENTS FROM THE SELECTMEN None taken.
V.	BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD Discuss and act on Call for Town Meeting, November 24, 2008. First Selectman Michael Pace asked that Item 3, increase of Dock Fees, of the Notice of Town Meeting be passed to the meeting without recommendation of the Board of Selectman. Selectman Thomas and Selectman Peace concurred. THOMAS/PEACE Motion to accept recommendation to call Town Meeting on November 24, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. to be held at the Old Saybrook Middle School Auditorium, 60 Sheffield Street, Old Saybrook, Connecticut. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY Enter into Executive Session to discuss pending litigation. THOMAS/PEACE Motion to enter into Executive Session at 6:36 p.m., session to include Attorneys Lazarek, Rose and DeLucca. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
